London venue Vinopolis has drawn its partnership with caterer Seasoned Events to a close after seven years.

The caterer's current contract runs out on 31 July, and Vinopolis has exclusively revealed to Event that it won't be renewed.

The venue’s in-house catering team Vinum, which operates the four restaurants at Vinopolis, will take responsibility of all event catering from 1 August.

"It was a much considered decision for the Vinopolis board who felt that the time was right to try a different approach," said Vinopolis managing director Sam Cox.

"The Seasoned team will be missed and I thank them for their hard work and professionalism."

The announcement will come as good news to organisers, who previously had to buy-out Seasoned if they wanted to bring their own caterer in.

Seasoned Events managing director Colin Sayers said: "Whilst we are clearly disappointed as we have grown the business every year and developed a reputation for delivering first-class food and events at the venue, we wish them well and hope that they continue to build on the last eight successful years."
