Picture gallery: The first morning at Confex

The show, which is running from 6-8 March in its new home of Excel London, has opened up with a number of seminars, keynotes and the first semi-final of The Next Big Thing.

One of the first educational seminars was held on Event and C&IT's Haymarket Hub at 10am this morning where the Event editorial team provided information on how to get featured editorially in the brand's print, digital and live events offerings.

This will be followed by the launch of Event's Capital of Cool London in 2012: Agencies and Suppliers supplement.

The show, which is running alongside IOEX, will be hosting a number of seminars all afternoon with speakers ranging from Dale Parmenter, MD at DRP Group to Rick Stainton, MD at Smyle.
