Events in Action: Fashion Monitor party at Skyloft
Chantelle Dietz, 25 September 2012, 9:00am
What was the event? An opportunity for the fashion directory to get its top fashionistas, bloggers and stylists together to network and socialise for one night before London Fashion Week.
How did the event unfold? Held at the top of the Millbank Tower, in Altitude’s new Skyloft space, the event saw representatives from world-renowned fashion houses including Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Diesel, Giorgio Armani and Vivienne Westwood come together to predict upcoming trends over mojitos. Caterer Nomad Food & Design provided the cocktails and canapés, with miniature bowls of beef bourguignon and tiny neon cups of tuna Niçoise salad on the menu. The desserts provided a showpiece for the evening – being prepared in front of guests at a liquid nitrogen stand.
