Companies wanted to provide jobs for The Eventice

The Eventice is looking for industry companies to offer jobs to the finalists of next year's competition.

The Eventice is a joint venture between Event and ESP Recruitment and is designed to provide job opportunities for event management graduates. It is now looking for companies to offer jobs for the finalists of next year's competition.

This year George P Johnson took on one of the graduates, while Tarsus took on the other. Such was the high level of student calibre that another finalist was offered a job at Brand Events.

For the inaugural Eventice in 2011 the winner was handed a job at Excel London, proving that the competition really does highlight the best up and coming talent in the event industry.

The Eventice 2013 will be launched shortly and all final year event management students will be asked to initially enter a video and paper application before a team of industry experts creates a shortlist.

The shortlisted candidates will then be asked to participate in a number of challenges during International Confex, which they will be scored on, before a final three or four will be asked to present to a panel of industry judges. The panel will then pick their winners.

If you want to be one of the companies involved in taking on one of the next batch of young talents in the industry then email us at eventmagazine@haymarket.com with the subject line 'The Eventice'.
