More than 350 people attended Mistletoe, jointly organised by Meeting Professionals International (MPI) UK and Ireland chapter, the International Special Events Society (ISES) and the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives, with support from The Business Visits & Events Partnership (BVEP) and Eventia.

Guests were entertained by Urban Soul Orchestra, Elegant Entertainment and Yursura; designed their own perfumes with The Perfume Studio; and nibbled on mince pie flavoured gourmet popcorn from Joe and Seph's.

Lumacoustics offered digital badge making and its YrWall graffiti wall, plus there was green screen photography by PJL Productions.

Caterer The Recipe served canapés and bowl food, including seared fillet of beef, tuna steak burger canapés and gorgonzola and walnut gnocchi.

Through a gift tree and a raffle, the night raised £650 for two charities: Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Meetings Industry Meeting Needs.

Philip Atkins, president of ISES UK Chapter, said: "Mistletoe 2012 was a perfect way for the events industry to come together and celebrate the very best of our industry. It provided members of every association the opportunity to network in a festive environment. I’d like to thank all the sponsors for their enormous support and creative input that made the evening so special."

Samme Allen, president of MPI UK and Ireland Chapter, added: "It was a spectacular event which bought the entire industry together. On behalf of all the organisations and associations, we hope that all our members had a fantastic 2012."
