Locog confirms corporate ticket deal with Mike Burton-Sodexo and JetSet Sports

London 2012 organisers have struck a deal with two major corporate hospitality companies to provide around 130,000 tickets for the 2012 Games.
US-based JetSet Sports and joint venture Mike Burton-Sodexo have been allocated around 2% of the overall 9.2million tickets that will go on sale next year.
Concern has been raised about the credentials of JetSet Sports, which was involved in the notorious Salt Lake City vote buying scandal of the 90s.
Yet Locog has defended its decision, telling Event the tender was carried out in a "fair and open" way through its brokerage portal Compete For.
The two companies are reported to have each paid £5m for the deal, which will see them create travel and hospitality packages to sell on to corporate clients.
A few rogue websites have already popped up claiming to be able to reserve tickets for the Games.
"We are working with the authorities to police this and have our own team here to monitor it," added the spokesperson.
